Abstract: With the development and progress of the times, the competition in this society is becoming more and more diverse and fierce. Mastering information education technology and applying it to practice is an important task for everyone in today’s society, which can improve competitiveness to a certain extent. Due to the diverse functions and extremely convenient characteristics of information technology, it determines that the development of various industries and fields in society is inseparable from information technology, and its existence plays a promoting role in promoting the overall development of society.

In the field of education, every educator should take how to correctly apply information education technology to teaching activities as an important task, and constantly strive to improve his own teaching system. The so-called information education technology is not computer technology in the eyes of most people, which is one-sided. There is a fundamental difference between the two: computer technology mainly includes computing and operation, the main purpose of which is to research and apply the technology of the computer itself, while information technology refers to the relevant technologies and methods of using modern computers and network technology to process some information. Educational methods and methods always change essentially with the revolution of technology, such as the invention of paper in the Western Han Dynasty, the invention of printing, and later the invention of tape recorders and video recorders, which had a great impact on China’s educational model at that time. The rapid development of contemporary computer technology has brought mankind into a new information era, that is, the era of information explosion. Such an era has put forward stricter requirements for people’s quality and knowledge, which is also an important reason for the change in the purpose of training talents in schools. Today’s education requires people to change from traditional knowledge accumulation training methods to cultivate creative talents. For creative talents, they must master and learn to use information technology to actively acquire knowledge theory and process relevant information. Under the traditional teaching model, it is obviously impossible to cultivate this kind of creative talent. At this time, the idea of innovative education strategy is put forward.

Requirements for teachers in information technology applications

1.Must have good information literacy.

In the modern developed information society, a high-quality teacher must have modern educational ideas and concepts, master modern teaching methods, skillfully use information tools, and effectively reorganize and process information resources. This requires every teacher to keep learning to meet the needs of modern teaching. If teachers do not have good information literacy, it is difficult to become high-quality teachers to meet the needs of modern teaching.

  1. Must have the quality of information education technology.

If you want to do a good job, you must sharpn your tools first. Educational technology is the “artments” for teachers. Teachers should keep pace with the times and have the basic qualities of information education technology to complete the education and teaching tasks of modern education and future education. Learning and mastering modern information technology can not only improve teachers on the basis of their original teaching ability, but also enhance teachers’ adaptability to modern information education in the new era, and more importantly, improve the requirements of adaptive quality education.

  1. Must master new teaching skills.

Multimedia technology integrates text, charts, recording, video recording, animation and other functions. As an advanced teaching method, it serves education and teaching work, fully demonstrating its advantages. However, simple stacking is difficult to produce high-quality products and cannot meet the needs of teaching. In order to better stimulate students’enthusiasmfor learning, so as to create the most ideal teaching environment for the development of students’ ability, teachers must master new teaching skills and be good at integrating information technology with subject courses, which is another major challenge for teachers in the new curriculum. In this context, teachers can truly play an important role in educational reform only by constantly taking the initiative to learn and strive to improve their professional ability.

The advantages of information education technology in teaching

Information education technology takes the network platform as the carrier, which realizes the organic integration of online and offline learning for students. Students' learning style will be more relaxed and free, and they will not be limited by time and place. They can choose their own learning content according to their own interests and learning shortcomings, thus increasing their initiative and self-selection, which is of great help to improve students' learning enthusiasm and learning efficiency.

2.The course is novel in content and flexible in form.

Curriculum design in the form of massive open online course can increase the flexibility of the curriculum, especially in the production process of massive open online course, which generally needs to be mastered within ten minutes, which urges teachers to «choose the best from the best» in content production and show more knowledge essence in ten minutes, thus posing new challenges to teachers' curriculum design ability. This curriculum design mode has changed the long-term teaching process thatteachers take the classroomas the core, andstudents can use more fragmented time for personalized learning.

3.Is conducive to the interaction between teachers and students in the learning process.

Using information education technology can not only learn courses online, but also provide students and teachers with functions such as online discussion, interaction and answering questions, which effectively shortens the distance between educators and learners. Students can also discuss through online course platform, or form online interactive groups according to their respective interests and hobbies, so as to realize the organic expansion of course content after class, improve the cohesion of course content, and promote the improvement of course quality.

Four summaries: The role of information technology in education and teaching should be divided into two parts. Teachers should think and study from the students' point of view, and reasonably combine information technology, teaching materials and students' actual learning level for teaching, so as to make effective use of it and really promote it.
